Absolutely delicious! Wish we found this place in the beginning of the trip. We probably would've come a few times. Had to wait for food because it's freshly made so happy about that! Definitely coming back here next time we come back to Montreal!!!

This restaurant is great! The food is simple and really good, you can eat a whole plate of pirogies and not feel like there’s a lead weight in your stomach. Just honest wholesome food. We have been here several times. The cabbage rolls are also excellent and this place seems busy every night, so that tells you something right there!

Real authentic polish restaurant in the middle of old Montreal. Really enjoyed potato pancakes and veal schnitzel - it was a bit hard to chew but the flavour was good.

Love my bigos. And live jazz! Too bad we didn't make reservations, so only got to sit at the bar. Definitely go back and remember to have a reservation first

Very cozy and relaxed. Amazing place for a date, a double date, or just a cool lunch!The service was normal, and the food took a bit of time to come out, so not the best place for a rush. But still very good.The food was honestly very good. And the portion sizes reasonable. Prices were on the lower end for the area, which makes this an excellent place for repeated visits. Definitely try it out.

If you are going to go non traditional in Montreal, this is the place to go. Live music, friendly and timely service, and delicious food. The duck is a must! I was with a friend who know polish food and he vouched for it. Pretty authentic! Enjoy!

Service was fantastic. Food is good here. For the portions, kind of expensive (but hey it is the old port). Love the ambiance here. But I found hair inside my perogi. I told them and they gave us an extra order of perogis for free to make up for it. Removed a star for that hair in there.

Very accomodating. Came in with out a reservation and they seated us right away. Staff was very polite and food was amazing. I would recommend the strogonof. It won't disappoint!

Food is tasty and the decor is lovely. For polish food it is a bit on the expensive side, but you’re in the old Montreal. It is a refined version of the traditional dishes.

Came to Stash after we saw the good reviews online. The rumors are true, this place is phenomenal. Great food, ambience, deco, style and atmosphere. And let me be clear, the food is delicious. We will undoubtedly come back during our stay. Highly recommended.

This restaurant is great for dates! The lighting and atmosphere gives that romantic feel. There’s always a single rose or flower in a little vase on each table. The food is also delicious if you’re craving some Eastern Europe food! The dessert is yummy too! Oh and sometimes there’s a pianist playing the piano :)

This is great Polish and part Ukrainiene food. The platzke are great, the staff (and mostly pianoman) are awesome! Don't let it size and the fact that it sounds more like comfort food fooled you! This is great food!

Food was incredible. Took me back to when I was growing up in Germany (yes, I know it's a polish restauran). Had the mushroom and cabbage pierogies for starters, the chicken schnitzel for main course and a peach cobbler for dessert. It was perfect.

Had a surprise evening out at Stash Cafe and loved every second of it. As soon as we walked in, we fell in love with the charming look of the stone walls and red light fixtures that hang over the tables. The pickles were the best pickles we've ever had.

Excellent food and service. We tried the brunch menus and couldn’t be more happier. Please try the polish sausage menu. Only draw back is the wait time while the menus are prepared. would recommend~!

Just went in for a quick bite when I was in Montreal. I loved the unique seating of the place--they borrowed church pews for some of the larger tables! The food here is authentically polish, but also more like bar food quality overall in my opinion. I ordered the Polish coffee and just a warning to others it is. STRONG. This ain't no simple Kahlua tier coffee ok. This one does NOT joke around!

We like the atmosphere and the vibe was elegant and matches the dinning experience. Food was very good but not exceptional. The lady who served us was helpfull and welcoming. Good place for tourists, couples, romantic evenings and also groups of 4 to 6 persons, and if you really need a polish menu in montreal you get to try this

Fabulous Service and Great Food. Our waiter collected our order flawlessly, without notes, while answering questions. Everyone at our table enjoyed their meals - and the beer and wine selection!

Best borscht (Barszcz) I've ever had. I still remember the taste almost a year and a half later. Wonderfully inviting and comfortable atmosphere inside. The waitress I had came off as kinda cold and annoyed but she grew on me. If I ever make it back to Montréal, I will absolutely go out of my way to go back and eat here.

The best Pierogies we've ever had. A great piano player and an amazing old building. And the pickles on the Caesar were amazing!

For those who like to eat well and do not have much time for dinner, it's super fast and delicious. The employees take care of the customers. Always a good party. Great choice of menu, fast services, the best hot dog fries and lunch. Courteous services. Quality foods

Great food (like mom used to make... Polish), live piano music, appealing decor. Make a reservation as they are almost always busy.

Fantastic food and atmosphere at an old building. Everything we tried was delicious. The piano player was also a nice touch. Even the walk up the stairs to the bathrooms was like being in a castle. Definitely will come back next time.

LOVE this place. I cannot wait to come back. The decor made you feel like you were eating at your grandmother's place, it was so cozy. We had a group of about 8 and were able to get a reservation. I wanted everything on the menu. Fortunately, one of my friends also did so we ordered a bunch of stuff and shared. Everything was delicious. The thing I was the most surprised about was the beef pirogies. I'd never had them before and they were to die for! I also liked that you could split up the pirogies so we had half beef and have cheese and potato.

Love Stash Cafe! It's a lot more upscale from when we first started going there, but it's still great. Being off Polish decent, it's a little bit of home.

Just... Great. Fantastic live piano, strange and compelling drinks. Waiters on point. Delicious food. Try the Polish Citizen cocktail. Trust me.

This was my first time eating at a true polish restaurant and it was great. We tried the pickled herring, zurek, and kotlet z srobiu. Everything was delicious. The price was a little more moderate, but not horrible. The staff was friendly and having a piano player made for a pleasant dining experience. Give it a go when you are in Montreal.

My partner is Polish and she as to attest to the authenticity of the Polish food (and staff). The server we got spoke fluently polish, english and french with a very nice smile. We arrived there with no reservation, got bad seats for that reason, yet the atmosphere and food still worked it’s charm. A excellent piano man was playing right next to us which created a nice atmosphere. Good place!
